Born and raised in Africa, educated in Europe, living in Austin Texas. Husband (20+yrs), father of two and a staffie pup who likes to sniff sawdust. Currently accused of "settling down" - though the jury is still out till the kids go to college...

For more than 20 years I have been at the cutting edge of design. As an Art Director, Digital Compositor and Visual Effects Supervisor I've seen a lot of things, met a lot of people and traveled to a lot of places. Both on the film set and in the studio, out in the field and in the workshop I've always preferred to work with my hands. Finally hanging my hat in the VFX field and turning my back on Hollywood once and for all I feel a sense of pride in creating something of my own every time I'm in my workshop.

What strikes me most is when function and form merge together with simple ease. I've spent my career making things look great on screen and have come to appreciate a less is more mentality when it comes to design. I hope to bring that to you in my creations where my deep-rooted belief in the simplicity of beautiful things is, for me, the most sincere appreciation of art.
